Athletics and Recreation
The Ambrose athletics department has chosen the name and symbolism of “Lion” for their department. As Lion athletes, the players are challenged to grow spiritually through sports, to strive to be Christ-like in character, integrity, and action in their practices and competitions.
The Ambrose Lions compete in the Alberta Colleges Athletic League (ACAL) and the Calgary Adult Hockey League. The team play schedules and standings are located on the Ambrose website. Go to http://www.ambrose.edu/athletics/teams and click on the sport you are interested in.
As you pray for the Athletic program, please pray that Ryan Willison, Athletics Director, and the coaches in each area will develop strong relationships and find creative ways to uphold Christ-like character and integrity with their players.
